Coming soon a new website for

My journey towards becoming an Ayurvedic Practitioner began during a Yoga training in Rishikesh, India in 1998. Upon arrival for the course I became unwell with dysentry and, although I was already a believer in holistic medicine, I didn't yet have any real skills to heal myself. It was destiny then that I met Dr Ravi, a kind Ayurvedic physician who guided me back to strength from that illness and a quick return to Yoga classes. I continued taking herbs and his dietary advice for 2 months and left Rishikesh much stronger with a taste of some of the healing
potential in this wonderful system of energetic medicine.

Education

It was then with much delight that in 2001 I discovered a course in Ayurvedic
Medicine based in London. I enrolled and graduated from Middlesex with a BSc.
Complementary Health, Ayurveda in 2006. During my studies I undertook clinical
internships in both India and Sri Lanka then spent 6 months in India again
immediately after graduation, working with Ayurvedic Doctors in Mysore and
Lucknow. During this time I also took my Yoga teacher training certificate with a 2
month intensive, living a Yogic lifestyle while studying under our teacher's watchful
supervision. Since settling in Brighton I have married, become a father to our
beautiful daughter and son and continued my journey with Ayurveda through clinic
days in London as the Ayurvedic Practitioner at Tri Yoga Camden and Chelsea and from our treatment space at home in Coldean, Brighton. I continue my professional development through the Ayurvedic Practitioner's Association as a full member and regularly attend self development workshops to further my skills as a practitioner. I am trained as a Shadow Work coach offering one to one sessions in Brighton to support people in processing their deep seated emotional needs.

My Approach

I believe that we are all on a healing journey in this life. It has been my privilege and good fortune to be guided by excellent tutors and spiritual teachers towards becoming an Ayurvedic Practitioner. By connecting to the heart of this knowledge
that is so ancient yet still so applicable and helping others to understand themselves better I can strive to be of useful service to humanity. I see myself as a street sign, perhaps pointing to an easier route towards better health, enhanced immunity and greater happiness. I offer ongoing support and care to my clients after designing a tailor made program according to their unique needs. Guidance in relaxation techniques, Yoga or other exercise that is appropriate for your constitution, diet and lifestyle as well as therapies are all tailored to your requirements. And Ayurvedic therapies needn't only be enjoyed as part of an ongoing program. The luxury, warmth and deep nurturing of these gorgeous therapies can also be experienced as a one off or as a lovely gift for a friend or loved one.
