Kerala Ayurveda Seattle

I first discovered yoga while in graduate school when between classes I rolled out my mat at the local YMCA. Since that time I have explored many styles of yoga and studied with a number of great teachers. My life and practice shifted tremendously when I decided to become a yoga teacher and trained with Marianne Wells Yoga School and later journeyed to India to study with Master teacher Anand Mehrotra. This powerful and transformative journey lead me to pursue more formal training in Ayurveda and in 2012 completed my studies at Kerala Ayurveda Academy in Seattle.

I teach with a playful spirit and encourage students to find balance among the stillness, joyful exploration and challenge of meeting their edge. My intention is to inspire students to explore this path of self-discovery, realizing the magnificence of their existence and becoming aware of the magic that is this life. Each journey is about celebrating the present moment, regardless of what arises, so life becomes a moment-to-moment experience of the continuous celebration. I am honored to be both a student and teacher on this path and am eternally grateful for the Master teachers in my life. It is through their infinite inspiration and guidance that I discovered life becomes your practice when you breathe with intention, move with grace and seek divine love in all that is.
