Eating is a relaxed, pleasurable, outdoor experience at Ideal Ayurvedic Resort. The open air dining area is a place where friendships are easily made and guests have the choice of joining up with others or finding their own space. The dining area spills out into the courtyard for those who like to get even closer to nature. The best of ingredients go into the preparation of the meals and the service comes with friendly efficiency.

In Ayurveda food and drinks are classified according to their taste - sweet, salty, spicy, sour, hot, cold and bitter - and thus by their influence on the doshas. All tastes should be represented in each meal, but within the proportionally specific requirements for each individual guest.

You can choose to follow a diet recommended by the doctors or can order your own selection each meal time, with a member of staff on hand to advise you on the suitability of specific foods, herbs and spices for you and to help you select dishes according to your treatment program.

Ayurvedic food is both healthy and delicious! The dishes our cooks prepare will surprise and delight you in their variety and delicacy. Or multi-cuisine kitchen offers local Keralan specialties, European and Chinese dishes and caters for vegan, vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Rooftop Terrace & Swimming Pool

The rooftop terrace, on top of the main guesthouse, offers a cool, quiet space amongst the treetops to get away from it all. With only the birds for company it is the ideal place for quiet reflection or an engrossing read. In the early evening Yoga classes are held on the terrace and at night it gives wonderful access to the skies for stargazing and meditation
